ThyroidHypothyroidism, Thyroid, Thyroid Blood Tests, TSH
This panel is used to evaluate thyroid function. Low thyroid function may result in fatigue, dry skin, and excessive weight gain. The test includes the following:
- Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
Evaluates overall thyroid function.
- Total Thyroxine (T4)
Evaluates the total amount of T4 produced by the thyroid gland.
- Free Thyroxine (T4)
Evaluates the amount of T4 available to the cells and tissues.
- Free Tri-iodothyronine (T3)
Measures the amount of T3 (the active form of the hormone) available to the cells and tissues.
This test does not require fasting. Take your medications as prescribed. However, do not take your supplements on the day of the test.
Active thyroid hormone (nicknamed T3, short for triiodothyronine) sets the body’s metabolic rate, sort of like a volume dial. One might say T3 determines how hard or how fast each cell works to do its job. Every cell of the body is affected by T3.
The thyroid glands (there’s one gland on each side of the windpipe) produce approximately 10% of total T3 plus an inactive form called T4. Tissues of the body absorb T4 and convert it to T3.
As T3 is active hormone, FT3 test must be requested to evaluate actual condition of hypothyroidism.

ThyroidHerbs and Supplements, Hypothyroidism, TSH Armour thyroid, Cytomel, nature thyroid, no prescription Armour, thyroid pharmacy, thyroid treatment, TSH
It appears a lot of us are desperate to try Armour, Nature Thyroid or Cytomel (T3) and dont mind paying it from our own pockets if NHS dont allow us.
I have to say I’ve tried these pharmacies and none of them have ever failed me. The Customer Support is very good as well and most of the time, they send you the stuff again if you havent received it or the parcel was lost.
Just bear in mind that Royal Mail will happily charge you £8 handling fee if the order total is more than £17 excluding shipping.

Please feel free to share more online pharmacies if you had a positive experience and you know that they are legit and have original supplies of thyroid hormones.
